Project Description

Energy is key to what we do as building system design engineers. Our role is the manipulation of energy into useful results, and the stewardship to use the least of it possible. We have multifaceted experience on large energy centers serving institutions like acute care hospitals, airports, and university campuses, in many cases implementing unique conservation means. Energy Scoping Studies & Audits are a quick way to see what opportunities exist for energy savings at your facility. From small restaurants to large hotels, everyone wants to increase profits. Reducing energy costs is one way to maximize the value of your business. Modelling of mechanical and electrical systems has become an important part of the design process. With the recent implementation of the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings, non-prescriptive path projects now must be modelled. Our experience in modelling is available to assist with your project. We have successfully applied the IES suite of software to numerous projects large and small, and can also draw on other modelling suites such as eQuest, HAP, and CAN-Quest. We are equally comfortable working in both the ASHRAE 90.1 or NECB schemes.
